Frequently Asked Questions

Q1

What is the difference between Class 1 and Class 5 in electrical wiring?

Class 1 consists of a single solid copper wire (U-type) and has a rigid structure; it is used for fixed installations. Class 5, on the other hand, consists of numerous thin copper wires (K-type) and is flexible; it is preferred in confined spaces and moving connections where bending is required.

What standards do Telka installation cables meet in their production?

Q2

All our installation cables are manufactured in full compliance with TS EN 50525-2-31 and international VDE standards. Our production processes are under the ISO 9001 quality management system.

Q3

What is the fundamental voltage difference between H05V and H07V classes?

H05V series cables have a rated voltage of 300/500V, while H07V series cables are designed for a rated voltage of 450/750V. This is directly related to the insulation thickness of the cable and the maximum electrical load it can withstand.

Q4

What is your stock and delivery status across Northern Cyprus?

Telka Cable provides fast shipping from our production facility to the entire island (Nicosia, Famagusta, Kyrenia, etc.). We operate with a high stock capacity in standard cross-sections (1.5mm², 2.5mm², 4mm²).

Q5

Do you have a minimum order quantity (MOQ) policy?

Our standard products are sold in rolls (100m). We offer special pricing and flexible quantity solutions for wholesale projects and our dealer network.
